How to make the payment for the online order.

Please make the payment through direct bank transfer, we cannot take credit card payment. We will dispatch the order after receiving the payment.

How to do combined shipping?

If you purchase multiple items, we offer combined shipping. We will contact you when we see your order and calculate the postage cost to you through Email .

How to track the order?

We will send you the tracking number of your parcel by Email. You can track your parcel from courier’s website /app.

What to do, if the products damaged during shipping.

Please contact us within 3 days and send us the photos of the damaged/faulty products, Please keep the original packaging if you intend to claim any damage. We will arrange the new product or accessories to replace it.

How can I return the products that I bought online?

Goods MUST be returned in original condition and original packing within 14 days for refund .Proof of purchase needed as well .Freight cost is not refundable. Return freight is at customer’s cost.

We will need your online bank account and account name. Refund will be transferred online to your bank account upon return receipt of the goods.

 

Clearance items are NOT refundable and not exchangeable.

 

Please note: Products that have been installed cannot be exchanged and returned for a ‘change of mind’ refund

How to pick up from our showroom?

Online order can be picked up from our showroom. We will notify you through Email, phone or message, when your order is ready to pick up.

How to get the SDOC of our products?

Please email us the model number of the product or the invoice number, we will sent you the SDOC by email within one working day.

What is colour temperature?

Colour temperature refers to the warmth or coldness of the light produced by the lamp or LED, measured in Kelvin (K). 3000k is warm white (yellow), 4000k natural light, 6000k cool white.

What is SMD downlight?

Generally, this means a Surface Mounted Device, such as an LED chip placed directly on a surface of a tape or strip.

What is COB downlight?

Generally, this means Chip On Board which can be specifically related to an LED chip placed directly onto an electronic circuit board.

How long does a Led bulb last?

Depends on the type of the Led bulb, life time ≥20,000 hours.

Load-bearing

Crystal lights, big drop light and big ceiling lights need to be installed on CEILING BATTENS or Wood Beam. If you unsure, please check with your electrician/builders or contact with us at : info@galaxylighting.co.nz.

What is IP rating?

Ingress protection ratings (IP)

The resistive performance of fittings to solids and liquids is indicated by the

IP (Ingress Protection) prefix followed by two numbers.

The first number indicates the measure of protection against the ingress of solids. For instance:IP5X

The second number indicates the measure of protection against the ingress of liquids. For instance: IPX4
