Shipping policy
We deliver right across New Zealand — courier to your door, or free pickup from either Auckland showroom.
Free shipping over $359
- NZ orders over $359 ship free. Items must be in stock (not pre-order) and placed in one order.
- Excludes 3-in-1 units, 230V/48V light tracks, LED Mirrors, and LED Garden Light Ball & Cube — these are always charged delivery, even when the rest of the order qualifies.
- Rural delivery and Waiheke Island are not covered by the free-shipping offer. Our checkout cannot always tell that an address is rural or on the island, so if a fee applies we will email you the amount for approval before we dispatch. You will never be charged extra without being asked first.
For orders under $359, and for the excluded items above, delivery is calculated at checkout from your address, so you always see the exact amount before you pay.
Quote for combined shipping
On orders of two items or more you can tick "Ask us to quote combined shipping" in your cart. You pay for the lights now and no delivery charge is taken at checkout. We then pack your order, get an actual freight price, and email it to you. Once you approve it we send a separate invoice for delivery and dispatch your order.
This is usually the better option for large or bulky items, multi-item orders that travel in one carton, and rural or island addresses.
Dispatch and delivery times
- In-stock orders are packed and sent within 1-2 business days.
- Most NZ urban addresses arrive 2-5 business days after dispatch. Rural and remote areas may take a little longer.
- Couriers deliver to your door and cannot deliver to P.O. boxes.
- Backorders are dispatched as soon as stock arrives.
- You receive a tracking number by email when your order is dispatched.

Damaged or missing items
Please notify us of any damaged goods in writing within 7 days of delivery; claims after this period cannot be accepted. Keep the original packaging for any damage claim.
Email a photo and your order number to sales@galaxylighting.nz and we will arrange a replacement or refund.
Warranty
- All lights: 24 months
- Clearance items: 12 months
- LED downlights: 3 years
- LED bulbs: 6 months (filament, halogen and incandescent bulbs excluded)
